A FEW WORDS ABOUT DEPARTMENT

The main subject of the Department's scientific and research interests is the functioning of the public sector, with particular emphasis on its modernization and implementation of innovations. The key research trends of the Department are the following areas: public management, public administration, organization and functioning of local government, local and regional development policy, management of public property and finances, enterprises and public utility sectors (infrastructure), land use planning, geographical information systems, development of rural areas, local government law and territorial marketing. The employees of the Department perform advisory, expert and consultative functions for the local government, municipal enterprises and institutions providing public services. Our team has practical experience in public administration and municipal enterprises, cooperating with public authorities and various local government units and municipal enterprises.
